Photogate Double – Speedometer

This device is a speed measurement instrument that uses two light gates to measure the speed of objects, such as test balls or carts with a flag, as they pass through them. The speed is measured automatically and displayed digitally. The speed reading is in meters per second (m/s), but there is also an option to convert it to kilometers per hour (km/h). Additionally, the device features a stopwatch function and an audible alert when an object passes through the light gates.

The device allows speed measurement of objects with a diameter of up to 40 mm. Additionally, it can be used in combination with other speed measurement devices and optional cables for acceleration calculations.

Easy to use:

Pressing Button A turns on the device. Then, using Button A, you can cycle through the measurement modes:

Single-direction speed measurement
Bi-directional speed measurement (e.g., for a pendulum)
Stopwatch function

If you hold Button A for 2-3 seconds, the device turns off.

Using Button B, you can switch the measurement unit from m/s to km/h when in speed measurement mode or start/stop the stopwatch when in stopwatch mode. To reset the stopwatch, hold Button B for 2-3 seconds.

The device automatically turns off after being idle for 3 minutes.
