Vacuum Filtration Apparatus
The Vacuum Filtration Apparatus consists of a Buchner (or vacuum) flask with a Buchner funnel attached to the top. Place a Filtration Filter in the Buchner funnel. Attached the silicone tube to the nozzle, and the other end in the vacuum pump.
Place the solution to filter in the Buchner funnel.
By starting the pump, a vacuum is created in the bottle, resulting in the separation of the precipitate from the liquid of the solution.
Optionally you can set up the device using a retort stand, metal tweezers.
