Capacitor Model

Its plates (discs) rest on a base and we can move them to change their distance.

At the base there is a graduation to calculate each time the distance between the surfaces of the two disks (plates).

You can adjust the distance of the disks from 1 to 150mm, with an accuracy of 1mm.

Connects with both banana and alligator cables.

Disc diameter 200mm.

Notes:

• You can charge the capacitor using Van de Graaff or any other high voltage source.
• You can demonstrate charge transfer by hanging a metal ball between the two plates. As long as one of the plates is charged, the metal ball will bounce between the plates.
