Mini Maracas 14cm – Set 2
Mini Maracas 14cm – Set 2. Supplied in a pack of 2 – in different colors. Two different sounds.
Small instrument – big fun
The rhythm instrument is ideal for early musical education. Thanks to its adapted size, even the youngest children can easily learn their first rhythms and sense of rhythm through play. The sound bodies are coated with 2 different colors. They sound muffled and dry. This means you can start making music together in a group or on your own.
Maracas or rumba rattles
They belong to the group of percussion instruments and consist of a hollow body filled with plant grains, shot or pebbles and a handle. Originally, this hollow body was made from dried gourds; today, wood, leather or plastic is used.Maracas are played in pairs, shaking them rhythmically to produce the typical pattering sound. For rattles with different timbres, the lower sounding one is played with the right hand and the higher sounding one with the left hand. Maracas are used particularly in Latin American music styles (e.g. samba, rumba or bossa nova), but are also suitable as toy instruments and for music-making in lessons. Shaking eggs have similar properties to maracas, but do not have a handle.
Maracas are also used in Latin American music styles (e.g. samba, rumba or bossa nova).
