NanoSchoolKit 2

The NanoSchoolKit 2 “Scratch-resistant coating” is about increasing the scratch resistance of wood. In order to protect the wooden surface against mechanical stress, wood panels were provided with a nano-coating, in which nanoparticles are incorporated. As a result, a high load capacity of the surface is achieved. The kit contains:

• 1 description of experiments
• 2 pieces of wooden flooring (uncoated)
• 2 pieces of wooden flooring (coated)
• 2 abrasive sponges

All experiments are part of the NanoSchoolBox. The kit serves as a refill kit or is suitable for people who are only interested in scratch-resistant coatings.
