Quick USB Turbidity Sensor
The Quick USB Turbidity Sensor (Nephelometer) is used to measure the turbidity of solutions and especially water since the turbidity rate in water is an important indicator of its quality.
The cleaner the water, the lower its turbidity.
Turbidity of water is caused when light is reflected on the particles contained in the water.
According to the USGS (United States Geological Society) the surface turbidity of the water is between 0 and 50 NTU, however, it can get even higher values.
